You are so close to being in your sweet spot if you aren't already there! Heck yeah!
If you are closer to the lower end of the scoring range (193-216), look at the area where you scored lowest and pick a couple of specific action steps to focus on. Make it a point this month to improve in that area. Then check back at the end of the month to see how you’re doing, and what indicators suggest that you’re getting closer to your sweet spot. Feeling the shift with better outcomes and experiences
could be as simple as identifying how to take an existing process and make it even more seamless or finally getting that one thing outsourced that you’ve held on to and it’s time to get it off your plate. Take an honest look at what step would provide the biggest payoff financially, energetically, and time-wise and then go for it!
If you are toward the higher end of the range (over 216), it doesn’t mean you don’t have anything to work on. It means you’ve already done a lot of things that have worked, and now it’s time to build on that solid foundation...to UPGRADE. Congratulations!
Start acknowledging and assessing all 4 areas of the Fab 4 Sweet Spot Formula in your future planning (e.g. each month/quarter) to feel more in charge and focused. Challenge yourself by choosing an area to strengthen that would most support you in taking your business to the next level. How? Consider potential changes happening that might impact areas of your business and start preparing to receive growth now, so you can stay in your sweet spot. For example, if you’re getting ready to launch a program and plan to schedule dozens of one-to-one consultations, be ready with that process and technology so you can efficiently handle the increase in client engagement and revenue. As an UPGRADER, it becomes more about further building your capacity for growth via money, impact, and efficiency.
As a Builder, you have worked SO hard to get to this place. You are at the best position to see and feel the biggest difference and shift into being an Upgrader by making focused, intentional adjustments. You got here because you are or have been implementing many solid steps in your business, yet you may be weaker in just one or two of the areas of the Fab 4 Formula.
A very common situation is when fempreneurs have lower scores in BOTH Head and Habits. If this is you, you might be feeling frustrated that you’re making efforts and even feeling busy and teetering on exhaustion, BUT STILL not getting the results you want. Once you get your vision and plan clear, your priorities become clear. This means you can say NO to all the things that are not your top priorities. And....when your priorities are clear you then know what habits are supporting you and your goals (and you will finally master time management since that really was never the issue). Master priorities and your energy and control how you spend your time much easier.
We typically suggest only focusing on improving the 2 areas where you scored lower, but at this stage, if there’s one particular issue that you’re struggling with in one of the higher 2 areas, and it would make you feel AMAZING if you worked on it, then DO IT. With so much possibility and things to work on, all of this can feel both exciting and overwhelming. Start by choosing your next steps and prioritize them like a boss! Maybe you need to create a plan, outsource some admin work, or raise your fees. Create your plan and go for it
You may be new to being an entrepreneur and still have many things to get in place to create a solid foundation for growth and success. While it might feel a bit overwhelming, this can often be the most exciting part of the journey!
Alternatively, if you have been in business for a while and you’re struggling but don’t know why, this is not the time to give up or back down (if you’re serious about growing your business).
As a “Newbie” this is typically the stage where you have many areas to improve but is often where entrepreneurs spread themselves too thin trying to do too many things at once. Instead, get clear on your direction for your business (your Vision) and then align everything you do with THAT. If it doesn’t align, don't put energy into it. This is a perfect opportunity to get really good at the core of what you do and set up systems and support that get that going like a well-oiled machine.
Once your Vision of your business is clear, the best next step is to put together a focused game plan (at Fab Fempreneurs we love a 90-day Action Plan!) based on your Vision and your results in the 4 areas of the Fab 4 Formula. Clarify what you will DO to get things going. Break it down into small steps. If you’re stuck, that’s where a coach can really help you get clear and focused so you can start feeling less stressed, more fulfilled, and get more money coming in.
If you scored in this range, I wonder if you may be doing your business just for fun! It could be a fun hobby that you want to make some money doing. That’s totally fine if that feels good for you! So cool. If so, find ways that you can make it even more rewarding. Start by defining what that would look like for you and get started! For example, would it feel more rewarding to involve others in some way e.g. a collaborative event? Or perhaps simply creating a simple plan so you feel focused and clear on what you want to do, create, etc . Even when you want to keep things simple, have fun, and aren’t concerned about making tons of money, it’s still a great feeling to be organized and see your progress. You get to decide what works for you. If you’re not sure, ask your connections.
If it’s not just a hobby, and you really DO want to grow your business, perhaps you’ve lost the mojo to make your business much of a priority. This is a TOUGH place to be and you’re not alone! That can happen throughout our entrepreneurial journey. If you truly are interested in growing (or re-growing) your business, re-examine why you started your business in the first place, and get clear about whether that still is relevant for you. If not, it may be time to move on, OR make a shift in your service offerings or types of clients you work with. Our work and our clients can significantly affect our feelings of joy and satisfaction. OR you may simply need some serious inspiration and to re-energize your business with a new or refreshed WHY for being in business! Reconnecting with your WHY is a great place to start. Your WHY can change over time so start there. You got this.
